Looking at the MVLS site, the latest SCEP for Mac is Current Branch 1602. I tried to install this on a Vanilla macOS 10.12 machine and received a warning about the product only being compatible with 10.6 - 10.11.I ignored the warning and installed anyway and my test mac hit a world of hurt - SCEP errors frequently and the machine became increasingly unresponsive. Using the uninstall script still left the machine in a near unusable state.Re-installed Sierra and this time used a different security product, and now everything seems to be fine.MS you really need to get ahead of the game with SCEP support for new macs. Hi Everyone,I am in the same boat as Chad: my university requires that we run an antivirus program and the one that they have recently switched to is SCEP. I tried installing SCEP on a MacBook that I had to reimage. I could not get SCEP to install on the newlyinstalled Sierra system and the failed installation left some clear messages in the system logs which I forwarded to the university help desk. The help desk told to wait for a new release of SCEP.

One of my most experienced Mac user installed SCEP under ElCapitan and then upgraded to Sierra. That did seem to work but YMMV.I read somewhere (don't remember where) that last year SCEP support for El Capitan did not appear until January 15, 2016 (4 months).
I am stuck in this this limbo where I am required to get my users to run SCEP but if they buy a new Mac it can't be installed. If Microsoft does not address this soon, I will be strongly lobbying my University to choose another vendor. If they would even give some sort of release schedule that would be a big help. Right now I am stuck in this no mans land where my users want new Macs, new Macs come with Sierra, SCEP is required, SCEP won't install, and Microsoft has essentially no information about what to do (at least that I could find using obvious searches though not in Bing).Fred.
Adding a little more detail to my earlier post above, as you've mentioned there appears to be some lag between the release of a new operating system version by Apple for the Mac and the related support for these by Microsoft within the System Center EndpointProtection product. This blog article is the latest I could find regarding the previous release of.
